Subject: [ILF] London to Where?

Okay, perhaps it's just my knowledge of England is a bit slim but here's
what I thought was going on those first two days we're all there:

Leicester is supposedly far enough away from London that we're all getting
lodging there for the night.

Wolverhampton is close enough to London for us to not get lodging there.

In reality, it seems:

Leicester is less than 1.5 hours from London, however the only night train
available leaves at 10:30pm, a bit early, so we stay there for the night.

Wolverhampton is 2.5 hours from London during the day and also only has one
night train leaving at 10:50pm which seems to have a duration of what?  7.5
hours back to London???  It would seem we need to spend the night there as
well.

trains that are not being shown on this site.
