Hello everyone, let me try and explain the bit of confusion concerning the One Man tour shirt thing. Less than a month ago i spoke with Shannon G regarding doing souvenir shirts for our jaunt to the UK for Mark's tour. Shannon advised that in the course of her job, she had some denim shirts made for various clients. Sounded like a cool idea to me at the time. A week or so later she advised that she would not have time to spend on this project, until such time as she got some work related projects finished. It was at this time that we releazied that we would not have time to ask everyone on the digest to vote on a fave shirt, and wait for all the money to arrive from various countries. This was originally intended as a sounvenir for the US folks, who were making the long journey to London for the 3 gigs. It was never intended to be a secret, or an exclusive thing. I originally e-mailed the 14- 15 US folks personally a week or so ago. Out of 15 people I got approx 5 responses. (thanks a lot guys) Our idea was to ask folks at the gigs and on the digest if they wanted shirts, upon our return to the USA. At this time a mutually agreed upon design could be voted on, and accepted by everyone. We could then place a bigger order, for perhaps a cheaper amount. As it stands Shannon will be personally paying for all these shirts, until we can get the funds to her. It's not fair to ask her to put out close to $1,000, and wait to receive the money from everyone. The shirt manufacturer needs the order, and full payment by Jan 14, in order to have 20 shirts ready for Jan 28th. Anything over this qty will delay the order. Looks like Shannon will be stuffing these shirts in her luggage to get them to all of us!! :-) So, I do hope that everyone understands this situation. Here is what we want to do about it. 1. We will 'try' and place an order for the us folks, up to 20 shirts. 2. Upon our return we will place another order for folks who want shirts. 3. At that time we will float around some designs, and have everyone vote on it. That way it becomes a democratic process. (currently we are producing what Shannon and I 'think' is the best design) So, pls start coming up with ideas. So, hopefully no one was offended regarding the US and UK flags being on the shirt design. That was not our intention, especially in light of the above explanation. Any future design(s) can certainly include any or all flags, or the flag idea can be dropped altogether. :-) tcoy, and pls e-mail me with any questions regarding this matter. Winston The company th
