Not entirely true Dan. I believe you have the option of having Napster do the scan. During my set-up, I did not allow the scan, nor did I specify any folders in which they could extract my files. By default, the folder they create to download the mp3's into becomes the one that folks can grab files from. The way I look at it, any file I've obtained thru Napster is one I would gladly share with anyone else. John
