Don't worry about the Euro, it is not "on the streets for another 2 years. It is only used between banks etc. for the time being. I would suggest NOT to take Euro travelers checks since I expect by far not everyone will accept them yet ! Credit Cards are pretty well accepted, but in for instance Holland not as well as in the States or the UK, so check before you order/buy. Cash machines are everywhere. Groetjes, Andre P.S.
