If you still need help with lodging in Leicester, London, and Wolverhampton PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND I WILL SEND YOU A COUPLE OF PHONE NUMBERS FOR THE PLACES CLOSEST TO THE VENUES. Also, tell me what sort of price range and how many people you plan to have in your room. Expect to pay @ US$50 per night in Leicester and Wolvs, and about @US$100.00 for each night in London. Below is a list of how much some things cost over there for those who have never been to the UK and a list of things you might want to have before you leave: Exchange Rate: US$1.00 = GBP 0.59 or US$1.69 = GBP 1.00 Average Meal: US$8.00 ( pub food, corner shop stuff, cafe) Train trip from airports to London city centre: US$40.00 Level 42 CD: US$25.00 - CD Singles US$ 8.00 Train (return, means roundtrip) London/Leicester US$ 50.00 - London/Wolvs US$ 50.00, depending on what class of service you choose and time/date your traveling on rail Taxi (London city) US$26.00 HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU AVOID TAXIS AND USE THE TUBE Tube Underground Pass (per day, within Zones 1-4) US$20.00 unlimited use in 24 hours BRING PLENTY OF FILM as it is very very expensive in the UK, along with batteries too. CONVERTER PLUG for all of your electronic devices, you need the UK/GB plug, you can get them at Tandy, Radio Shack, Wal-Mart, and any specialized travel shop, expect to pay US$20.00 for the set, you'll need this plug for your camcorders recharge stands or shavers, etc...... If you have a prescription (drugs of the legal kind) you need to ask your pharmacist 'chemist' to re-write the prescriptions in full and generic names, just in case you need to refill in the UK, that includes asthma inhalers too. And of course, Little FIDO or FLUFFY will have to stay here in the USA, as there is a 6 month holding cell awaiting your pet if you take him/her. Make's you wonder really......... MAKE SURE THAT YOU BRING what you want autographed, I recommend that you bring only the CD cover insert and not the actual CD as it could get scratched or even worse destroyed in flight or by the constant traveling we all are going to be doing, same with those 12" bring only the sleeves. Well, I hope that this help most of you..if you need anymore info, PLEASE FEEL FREE to write or call me at 1-800-858-0371 ext 3691 Mikey42
