From: "Michael T Payne" Date: Wed, 30 Dec 1998 12:11:33 -0600 Subject: [ILF] HAPPY NEW YEAR'S I would like to wish everybody a very happy NEW YEAR and hope that 1999 (Gosh, it seems strange even typing that) brings in the very best. Well 1999 will start off GREAT with the concerts in a couple of weeks!!!! Time is moving just too slow for me right now I wish it would hurry up a bit to Jan 27th! :) My luck would be like Groundhog Day and live Jan 26th over and over again for eternity. I do recommend that people buy stock into Warner Bros, as they (as Winson told me) own the stock in 'The Artist's' song 1999, as if I hear it again I will scream to the top of my lungs! Anyway, have a GREAT weekend and hope to see Everybody on the digest next year, minus.......nah, I'll be nice Laurel :) Mikey42 28 Days, 12 Hours, 3 Minutes, 23 Seconds.....and counting WARNING: This reminds me, I have to buy a new VCR as the one I bought for Christmas DIED. We tried to set it up to see if Y2K was going to be a factor , well, as soon as it hit 11:59:59 PM 12-31-99 one second later the tape popped out and shut off, never to be started again. I bought a Mitsubishi 4 Head Hi-Fi Video Converter VCR NTSC/PAL/SECAM Model MTXC 12 to update my old AIWA setup paid around US$750.00 for it and it was not even Y2K compliant. Where's Carl Mueller when you need him? Happy ending though, Circuit City (where I bought it) will exchange it for a Phillips model that wa more than the Mits model and won't make me pay the diff!!!! 367 Days, 12 Hours, 3 Minutes, 23 Seconds and counting.............
