Apparently Mark King presented an award to Charlie Haden at the BBC Radio 3 Jazz Awards last week, and spoke of how Haden had inspired him to take up the bass. I'd never heard this before. Anybody know what he said?

Also, who the hell is voting for Tracie and The Ape? Anybody on this list who is attending a show in October and who has voted for one of these tracks, come forth and explain yourself! Each to their own and all that, but really.
