Maybe he was so dumbstruck by the behaviour of the
Digest contingent - hogging the front centre stage
area as if it was their divine right, trying to engage
the band in private banter during the gig, competing
with each other to see who could sing along loudest,
generally acting like hyperactive members of a hen
party outing, oblivious to the impact it was having on
attendees who were not part of their group - that he
was actually embarrassed to be a member of that
community. Maybe not, I'm just speculating wildly.

But I digress - a get together of Level 42 obsessives,
in London of all places?! It's the perfect night!
(Unlike some recent correspondents, I am fairly
confident that Americans have a firm grasp on sarcasm.
But, you know, each to their own and all that.)

There seems to be a bit of critical mass regarding a Londonfest on Saturday November 3rd, which is very cool!  I wanted to put it out there publicly one last time - if you are interested in getting together with some other folks from the digest and beyond, please speak up!  We will meet late afternoon, and so far we have 10 people confirmed.

Since I don't actually live in London, I would like to solicit ideas for a spot for folks to meet.  A meeting place needs to be chosen by the weekend before so everyone knows where to go - please send any suggestions my way...
