I met Don for the Isle of Wight jaunt and had a few e-chats about various things, mostly basses. He hadn't posted much lately that I saw, so I don't know if his illness was making him less of a contributor than he had been previously. I'm sure he chuckled at the arguments when he did see them. Nice to have shared a beer, and some train and ferry rides with him. A great guy who will be missed by us all. Steve Randall
