| I kinda like RETROGLIDE, but i came from it fresh, not expecting a Level 42 record. Of course i also knew it was mostly gonna be a MK/Boon project, with overdubs by a few of the touring band members, Lindup included. Love or hate the layered MK vox, Lindup was NOT right there next to him in the studio net to him. This was done by MK, and the others guys came in for a wee bit, and laid down was little things they had to do. IN the case of guitar i think those parts were done remotely by Nathan. Thats why you dont hear much Lindup in the mix. I'm pretty sure Mike came back at the last moment. My hope is things are done much differently for the next LP, with the writing duties being shared a bit more, and everyone at least being in the studio together during recording. Win p.s. my fave track is ALL AROUND. | ||

Fancy Andrew Goodwin using the word bobbins. Does this
mean he. like me, is a Frank Sidebottom fan? Frank hasn't to my knowledge
covered anything L42 related. However, I would love to be proved wrong and hear
of anything he had. I think he'd do Love Games pretty well!
