| Hi Folks, I thought I might have been the only one who doesn't really like this song. It's one of two or three on Retroglide I always skip over. It's not just the song itself which I'm sure Mark and Boon put a lot of effort into and I'm very reluctant to knock Retroglide as it's rare these days to see an all-new L42 album. But, Ship and Clouds I just can't listen to. I find them a little too... morose. I'm more of an old-school "Hot Water" or "Lessons in Love" kinda guy. Fingers crossed there will be in the future and Wally and/or Mike will be involved too. Looking forward to a PG album. Cheers. Jules. | ||

>Maybe somewhere, lurking, >there is a Steve Blacke (surname spelt slightly >differently from the norm in order to appear >bohemian). Very good. If only I could laugh with you... I estimate that 3.5 years of my life have been spent spelling my name to people. I should have "Stephen with a "PH" and Whyte with a "Y"" tatooed on my forehead. I'd still get letters/applications coming back addressed to "Mr Steven Wyte" though, so what's the point. Invite your mail contacts to join your friends list with Windows Live Spaces. It's easy! I'm just basking in the nostalgia I feel when reading this digest lately. Anyone feel like telling me my opinion on what makes a good bass guitar is wrong? _________________________________________________________________ Connect to the next generation of MSN Messenger http://imagine-msn.com/messenger/launch80/default.aspx?locale=en-us&source=wlmailtagline | ||

| Hi All!! Major 42 fan here from the early 80's (and a memorible gig at Goldiggers Chippenham that went on Physical Presence). I've recently been listening to Phil Goulds new stuff a lot on MySpace and a great new musician and singer called BERENICE who features on a a lot of Phils new stuff. She is a great singer and writer in her own right and very much in the '42 style! So go see her she's on @ Jrink 7:30 In Frith St on Sunday 30th September as well as Soho Revue bar on 2nd of October +! I'm a TV Producer & Director and hope to feature her and the band on a show being shot in late November. I'd see Berenice NOW as she's definitely big time! Kind Regards to all my fellow 42'ers!! | Bollocks. I deleted about a million emails from my inbox - including a load of unread L42 Digests. Now I find out there's been a stoush and I missed it. I'm not making fun of anyone, it's just that the one time something exciting happens on the Digest, I miss it! What was it about? Is it over now? Was anyone hurt? Can someone send me the script? Cheers ~ Mike (Sydney City Milkman) P.S. Been playing Rick Astley's 'Free' CD recently - good gear. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Building a website is a piece of cake. Yahoo!
