I rarely play a CD all the way through on my stereo at home.

For me, individual track names have become almost insignificant. Before the
mp3 player I had a discman - anytime I bought an album it'd get fired into
the discman to entertain me on the way to Uni/work - I didn't have the
sleeve with me so I'd get to know the tracks i liked by their number alone.
And since the iPod came along this has got worse, albeit we can see the
track on the display, but more often than not the pod is in a pocket. I
have to make a conscious effort to look at the display when an unknown track
is shuffed up.

Or maybe this is just me...

My iPod seems to think so.

You're welcome. Anyone else except Andrew, Zak and I prepared to admit
their Top Ten Most Played?

That's because it's a Manic Street Preachers album, mate!

".....!"

Howard Jones is an example of what AG was talking about regarding individual
tracks/death of the album as an entity. I downloaded 3 HJ tracks from
itunes recently. Wouldn't have forked out for a whole album though, so I'm
happy.
