What a show.  I managed to get a photographer pass through work so was down the front for the first four tracks before being herded away.  Got about 10 good pics from 60 but what an experience.  If anyone wants some let me know.

Did anyone manage to get the set list down?  I’ve tried to remember but can get nowhere – probably too much to drink.

My wife and I made the trip from the states to see the
RAH concert (and of course its always wonderful to be
in London) and we were both thoroughly impressed. I've
been a Level 42 fan since my school days but my wife
is a relative new comer and she is now decidedly on
the L42 bandwagon. And what a difference it makes
having Mike Lindup on the stage (no offense Lyndon).
My favorites from the show were Kansas City Milkman
and Starchild...raucous performances on both.

As a side note...did anyone notice the rather chilly
reception the new Retrogilde songs received?
And how come the boys never play anything off the
Guaranteed album? Is it a legal thing or what?

LEVEL 42 - HOUSE OF BLUES TOUR 2007  (USA & CANADA) TRAVEL INFO

***** UPDATE ON REDUCED RATES FOR US DIGESTERS ONLY *****

I have finalized some air contracts with American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, United, and Delta Airlines for next February and March from all US citites for travel within the US. I have also negotiated special rates with Hyatt, Amerisuites, and Best Western properties too, along with Amtrak rates too. I did try to get a discount Greyhound Bus, they were not interested in offering group or special rates. Like a few tours ago, I will have "Poor Man Deals", "Family Specials", "Romantic Packages w/spa" and the "Higher-End" packages for all. I can do just air and/or hotel as well as a rental car too, whatever I can do, just drop me a line! michaeltravelvision @ yahoo.com I wanted to add that prices will be public when the actual tour dates are officially announced. Oh yeah - if tickets are available for sale, I have permission from my boss to buy them for the packages too!

Hi Steve,

A closer inspection of the CD showed that it was- in fact- the Malaysian edition. It's already on it's way back to CD Universe, who told me that they're removing the 11 track listing from their site. I'll believe it when I see it- especially considering the fact that it's up there as of this writing along with a higher price ($19.19). Carl, you might want to change the link on your site.
:-)

Amazon.com over here has a list price of $31.98, so if anyone can suggest a good U.S. outlet that has the 11 track version I'd appreciate it since I really don't feel like getting a$$ raped in order to get the new album. Alternatively, if anyone over in the UK/Europe wants to pick me up a copy and work out some type of swap, that's a possibility as well. Contact me at the above address.

Thanks to everyone who e-mailed me with info about this!!

Chris L.

PS- with all this discussion of concerts lately, has someone bothered to make a "live audio document" of one of the events? And what about the discussion of Mike being on stage? Is Lyndon not with them on tour, or are there two keyboard players this time around?

>>Chris, you've been sent the international edition of the album. All I Need
won't be on there - hidden or otherwise. On the UK only release of the
album, All I Need sits at number 11 and is credited as a bonus track.

I assume you paid a low price from CD Universe? I made exactly the same
mistake as you. I ordered my copy from BangCD for only £6.99. I thought it
was too good to be true so foolishly dived in feet first and ordered it -
only then realising my mistake. BangCD imports it's cd's, that's why they
get them so cheap, and therefore they had imported my copy from overseas.

I had to bite the bullet and buy a second copy of the album from HMV online
for £8.99 to get the UK version.

I gave the 10 track version to my brother, who was most grateful. His wife,
however, was not...

steve

ps - incidently, BangCD is a great site to use, i've used it numerous times
- all new albums are 6.99 - just as long as the international release is the
one you want! <<
