Hi
Thanks to the chap who responded to my email, sorry I didn’t catch your name, before inadvertently deleting.
So, ‘Return of the handsome rugged man’ live.
Is it true, that such a stonking track has never performed in front of a live audience?
Does this mean that I will never blag a copy from a fellow fan?
This is terrible news!
I reckon that the people on this digest who have any persuasive powers, should use them to convince the up and coming tour of L42, to play this mighty tune, before I get too old and start saying things like, “just sounds like a load of noise, there’s no melody, too loud, it’ not like the music of my day”.
Now that would be a tragedy.

41 and still 42ing

Cheer  all
David

Wow,

I am sitting here with tears in my eyes and with a surprising amount
of emotion welling up in me. I've just read the last of the original
digests, #265 and after all the pleas and entreaties to save the
digest....well its gone.

But, I am happy to report that unlike The Dead Media Digest which I
am still a subscriber of and which hasn't sent anything since 2002 I
am able to look forward to a new digest.

Long may the digest live.

Again, thanks Eric for being such a trouper.....

Doug

indeed be a sad day.

Hey, the Digest (now 12.5 years old!) really has its own life at this point.  I might be a caretaker of sorts, but the folks that subscribe and continue to read/post after all these years are the ones that keep it going...  and I'll keep the light on so long as this continues.  The least I can do is provide a home and a few bits of bandwidth.  :)

Anyways, back to our intermittently scheduled blip of conflict...

cheers
Eric
