Hi Thanks to the chap who responded to my email, sorry I didn’t catch your name, before inadvertently deleting. So, ‘Return of the handsome rugged man’ live. Is it true, that such a stonking track has never performed in front of a live audience? Does this mean that I will never blag a copy from a fellow fan? This is terrible news! I reckon that the people on this digest who have any persuasive powers, should use them to convince the up and coming tour of L42, to play this mighty tune, before I get too old and start saying things like, “just sounds like a load of noise, there’s no melody, too loud, it’ not like the music of my day”. Now that would be a tragedy. 41 and still 42ing Cheer all David | ||

| Wow, I am sitting here with tears in my eyes and with a surprising amount of emotion welling up in me. I've just read the last of the original digests, #265 and after all the pleas and entreaties to save the digest....well its gone. But, I am happy to report that unlike The Dead Media Digest which I am still a subscriber of and which hasn't sent anything since 2002 I am able to look forward to a new digest. Long may the digest live. Again, thanks Eric for being such a trouper..... Doug | ||

He's right, we may think this is
'our' place, but we reside her at
the pleasure of Mr Hansen and so long as he's at the least indifferent to the digest and not actively opposed to its existence then we are home free....the day that changes.....well, that will indeed be a sad day. Hey, the Digest (now
12.5 years old!) really has its own life at this point. I might be a
caretaker of sorts, but the folks that subscribe and continue to read/post after
all these years are the ones that keep it going... and I'll keep the light
on so long as this continues. The least I can do is provide a home and a
few bits of bandwidth. :)
Anyways, back to our
intermittently scheduled blip of conflict...
cheers
