Mike Lindup / Gay / Not Gay – I *think* Mr Miller was being ironic in the face of the recent debates on the digest.  Either that or he hasn’t been paying attention for the past 8 years.  J

Firneds – nice to see that the Hankinson’s are alive and well.  Funny how controversy brings out all the old faces!  Either that or it is just huge coincidence.  Now all we need is for Joe P to make an appearance and we are all set.

Marcus – just picked up Dreyfus Jazz DVD “Marcus Miller, Master Of All Trades” – it features a concert from 2002.  Poogie, Patches et al, some Lalah Hathaway vocals.  The quality is great and the whole band is very on form – highly recommended.  I don’t think it has been mentioned on the digest so far.  Either that or *I* haven’t been paying attention for the past year.

Doug – I replied to your email from a while back about Level 43 – never saw a response.  Your first mail got classed as Junk Mail, so am wondering if the same thing happened…?  Either that or you just don’t love me any more.

Right, I am off to practice the slap version of Teen Town.

Winston: I had Morph the Cat in my car player for a week. It took some time to acquaint myself but all is good now.

I agree some tracks sound like old material but in an interview, Fagen stated some of these songs were composed during his previous efforts and have been lying around for years. Becker says those songs were more Fagen than 'Dan so Fagen kept them for himself. I also read this is the third installment of his trilogy. Nightfly was about youth, Kamakiriad was growing up and Morph is about maturity.

Don't forget to grab the itunes-only "Rhymes" bonus track. It's more of a straight ahead rocker, Fagen-style.

Regarding the fued.....Winston was the first firned I made on the web and took me under his wing in the early days from everything from music to PC's to Spiderman, and the list goes on. He's even sent my son some cool movie promo stuff - never asking for anything in return.

Hi Willem, i moved from the east coast, to Las Vegas, Nevada. The
theatre i had
been managing in NYC closed, so i'm now working in another theatre in
the same
national chain. This one is located in downtown Las Vegas. I'm living in
Henderson
Nevada, a suburb of Las Vegas. Here is a link to a recent news story
about the place...
Fox Sports is taking over 3 of our 14 auditoriums to film a live poker
show. Why people
watch cards on tv is beyond me, but there ya go...;-)

Hi Cliff, havent spoken to you in some time. And you are correct, a live
video concert
from the Wolverhampton show was a minor digest project on vhs. And it
was filmed by
MIkey. I was standing next to him when he did it..quite funny. That was
a great evening,
and a fun trip with lots of the us digesters.

Big congrats to the Hankinsons...see you guys soon. Always up for a
SoCal fest.
I'll be out there in July for the San Diego ComicCon.

tcoy,

Win

Well, I am so glad that those who defended Winston, have ALL benefited from his share of bootlegs over the past 10 years - so getting a cascade of personal insults, lies, and half-truths from them means absolutely nothing to me.  Let them hurl all they want to me and to my character;  it won't change the views of those who really do know me, those who know what I've said is true, and those who simply do not care.    However, being branded a liar by some of them is funny to me, in fact, HILARIOUS!!!!
