Oh dear, we're in for a crap sound mix again.
Nothing new there then!
Perhaps someone should send the YTS Sound Tech to a
Jamiroquai concert (for example), at least the sound is perfect
there!
........perhaps it's a case of bring your own
mixing desk!
See anyone at Nottingham.
Jules.

I’ve just bought the Live 2CD Running In The Family album from Asda. I felt very old because it was in a rack of identically packaged albums in the “Nostalgic Music” section along with Ella Fitzgerald, The Rat Pack, Jerry Lee Lewis & the like L. Bizarrely there was also a Gillan one too !!
Anyway, as already said it’s all live material & not bad value when you get 26 tracks for £4. Some of the songs are taken from the same concert performance & run into each other. Other tracks at least segue into each other with a bit of crowd cheering & would possibly fool the casual listener into thinking that they were taken from a single concert.
I haven’t listened to CD 2 yet but “Sooner Or Later”, “Play Me” & “All Over You” are slightly out of the ordinary selections that will be good to hear. It’s also interesting to hear a performance of “Follow Me” on there (did that ever turn up in bootleg studio version anywhere?), there’s a nice little bass solo leading into Mr Pink & I’m still chuckling at the spelling for “Love Meating Love”.
And on the subject of the re releases that are coming out next year. Does anyone have any idea of what extra material will be on them please? I already own vinyl copies, the original CDs & the last set of re releases & I can’t justify the expense unless there’s some worthwhile bonuses (& lots of them!) included.
