I don't understand why everybody is complaining about the setlist of the festival shows..... It was announced that these gigs were the warming-up to get the band ready for the autumn tour...... And, have you ever been in a studio for a couple of days?!?! You'd be glad you could play for an audience again.... even if it was a bunch of complaining dutchman...!!!

Me personaly love to see them play live. Everytime again. Just try to make your band sound so tight!!!!

Greetings,

Joost Peters

With ref to yesterday's posting, as I have said all along, if they play this autumn: Running in the Family, Lessons in Love, Something About You in THAT order as some kind of megamix towards the end of the show AGAIN as in the previous 40000 gigs I WILL hang myself!!!

Amen brother!! Plus, if Better had in fact listened to
the interview, why didn't he share the details with
us?

Honestly, the only things I can think of that I'd like
to have remastered and released on CD are the extended
versions of 'Turn It On', 'Love Games' and 'Star
Child' that appeared on the original CD version of the
debut album. After a while, a lot of the remixes just
start blurring together. On the original CD version of
THE PURSUIT OF ACCIDENTS, there were 2 different
remixes included ('You Can't Blame Louis', 'The
Chinese Way') that were pretty unforgettable, and I
don't think anyone even made a peep when they weren't
included on the 2000 reissues. Of course, they were
replaced with two equally unforgettable remixes, so
there you go. The three extended version of the songs
from the first album actually add something and give
each track a little more substance, but that's by far
the exception and not the rule.

And the 7", single, edited (or whatever you want to
call it) versions simply SUCK, so they're best left to
collectors of 45's.

So these new versions are all going to be 2 disc
editions then?
