Hi all
Been listening to the album for a few days now and on the whole I like it and it is always good to hear new stuff from the guys. I’ve never been a huge fan of Boon’s lyrics and there is little to make me rethink that stance on her, some lines just don’t seem to flow. But that’s a niggle.
Every member plays well esp Gary and Sean the Prawn.
Re Mike : Is he really a band member? That might go someway to explaining why he isn’t all over the album. And that may have been his choice don’t forget. If his vocals and to a lesser extent his keyboards were used as some of you think they should have been then what would be Lyndon’s role, and surely it would sound so much like a rehash of the 90’s that perhaps they all decided that it wasn’t for the best. And I would respect that – gotta move on sometimes eh?
For me the best at the mo are Way Back Home, Just for You, Ship and All I Need.
But doubtless that’ll change hehe.
Thanks
Andrew
