Lars,
many thanks for the update, images and
setlist from sunny Denmark!
soooo coooool, in many
aspects.
firstly, to watch updated images of mike
and mark. we're all a bit older
these days, aren't we? the strange thing
is that the songs are the same,
and
surviving...
secondly, the mere fact that mike is back. 50% of
the original lineup
(and counting....?) greyish, but happy and
relaxed , it seems.
thirdly - mike (and the band?) is back at the
roots! fender rhodes and
prophet 5. it just don't get any better.
I've spent the better part of the dark,
cold, wet winter season in sweden
listening to the "physical presence" live
act from 1986 2-3 times a week when
working out - and there's the evidence.
remastered as it is, just a sheer joy,
pleasure and fantasy ride every time.
sod all techie mumbo after these days -
the band at its prime and the sound
as fat and encouraging as ever. rhodes and sequential
circutits rule!!
if
only two brothers surnamed gould would pop up to make the
picture
complete. one ot which
occasionally tried backing "living it up"
with vocals that made everyone think the
roadies had stolen a mic
at leisure. but what the heck - we'ew all
nostalgic (and old).
no offence to gary, nathan and sean -
great guys (I've even watched
gary at the piano with legend billy cobham
on drums to know that
gary is extremely talented!). it's just
that the original is the original
(like the levi's 501 ad photos by mike,
phil, mark and boon from 1987...)
keep slappin'

I find it hard to understand the exclusion of
even one new track.
