Level 42, mainly MK, stated about 2 weeks ago after a gig to some fans that subscribe to this forum that L42 was planning a North American tour for Feb/Mar 2007. I did write and receive an e-mail from Neil Warnock (Agent for L42), confirming in fact that L42 are making plans to come over and perform a set of dates at small jazz venues, mainly the House of Blues. With info TBA! No dates or cities have been posted, HOWEVER, I am told that info is very close to being released and confirmed and Winman stated on the L42 Web Digest that 18 US and 2 Canadian gigs "could" be scheduled. L42 are just waiting for the new L42 album "Retroglide" to be released in North America prior to confirmation of tour dates! To my knowledge - this is where it stands right now.........trust me North American fans when I say, this is more than a MK pipedream - this looks like it will finally happen in 2007!!!!! Latest i've heard is there will be 18 USA dates, and 2 Canadian dates. All House Of Blues venues. All contingent on RETROGLIDE getting a us release. Dont know who needs the album release, the promoters or the record company, but thats the word i got. This comes from a fan, who asked Mark King after a recent gig.
