I agree about the lacklustre response to Phil & Mike working together, I
think it's great and a Changes-esque album with Phil on percussion and some
lyrical contribution would be a fantabulous album. Even without Mr.
Thunderthumbs involved. Like many folks I'm aching for new material too and
we've all been down the road of 'we're working on it...' from Mr. King and
Mr. Lindup. If you look at Phils website, it says there's excitement at the
prospect of new material from Phil. It was posted in 2003. So, like fine
wine these things take time and as hard as it might be, we should avoid too
much cynicism (rich coming from me).
