| > 1. Life, the Universe, and Everything > From: alex.friesen @ sickkids.ca It occurred to me that you can probably remember the moon landings. I'm sure every age group has its own benchmark of what constitutes old (I was explaining to a 21 year old girl at work the other day that when I was a kid there were only three TV channels, and if there were two programmes on at the same time you just missed one and that was it. "Why didn't you video it?" she wondered, displaying an uncanny knack for missing the point - that I pre-date home video recording), and that's mine - man landing on the moon. If you can remember that, damn you're old. > "Hitchhiker's Guide" Very likeable, quintessentially English, and I always loved Peter Jones (get yourself a Just A Minute CD off eBay to hear him at his best), but - is it just me? - not very funny. Is it even meant to be funny? Blimey, the sacrilege never ends round my house. > 3. new Stevie Wonder Album > From: level42love > > Since your posts on > the Digest are so friggin' ingenious and hilarious, > please email me privately for a free copy. Wahey! I knew 8 years of drivel would pay off in the end. And, er, language Timothy.
