| Hi Mike, Jen and all, is this a topic to get the girls posting here? Well, then you succeeded ;-) I do think Mark was and is attractive :-) I posted here only a few times which was years ago and said "MarkyBaby". By the way, last week my boyfriend ordered and gave the Rockpalast DVD to me (he really must be in love with me) - and we had a very nice evening, sitting on our balkony, having a glass of champagne and watching the Rockpalast gig '83 on my PowerBook :-))) ! I never saw MarkyBaby playing percussions again! The Rockpalast '84 gig was the one that got me infected with this Level42 virus ;-) - after seeing that concert on TV, I bought my first Level42 album - True colours - and then...well you all can imagine here. I still LOVE this music! It's a pitty that Mark never played percussions again during some tracks. Really love that. Apart from his incredible style of playing the bass of course :-). How old have they been then? About 22-25? So young and already such a perfect band - in my opinion! Seems that they never did anything else in their lives.... And I still like Phil as a drummer much more than Gary (sorry Gary). I can't exactly say why, but somehow I like just his style of playing better. I know these are very old topics here, as I joined the digest about 5 years ago - but watching the Rockpalast gig's brought this topic back to me and I felt again, that I liked Phil as a drummer better. A very nice day to you all - and maybe excuse some mistakes in my language. Many sunny summer greetings from Germany Sabine |
