Hmm, looks like Mark King remixed the band 'Direct Drive', another brit-funk outfit, NOT the band ABC.
I have one or two other brit0funk band 12 inch singles, which Mark King remixed, and/or produced. As
they are in storage, i cant find them for exact verification.

Actually I think it's only fair that the thick-witted
and inarticulate should be sent CDs commensurate to
their talent. Where did you want this Keane CD sent?

Perhaps I should clarify that although born and raised
in Oxford, I had the good fortune (with the benefit of
hindsight) to fail the entrance exam here. As such I
managed to avoid ending up like Malcolm McDowell in
If, taking potshots at the abundance of
over-privileged, inbred, supercilious oiks who
constitute the majority of the student body here.

> Alex, I'll do my best to fill the digest with
drivel,
for your particular consumption, but really with the
three year old I can barely find time to breathe under
my own power.

Yes, those single children are so onerous, aren't
they? On my own with the lot of them this week and yet
I STILL find time to be friggin' something or other. I
reckon I deserve every freebie coming to me
(allegedly)! Having a heck of a time getting hold of
The Bad & Lowdown World Of The Kane Gang - anybody?

A propos of nothing, here's a link to piece of comedy
writing which seems to divide people into one group
which finds it mildly diverting and another which
splits its sides:

Level 42 Digest for Sunday, October 09, 2005
>I'm not convinced it's not a hoax. Let's face it, I never received that young Filipino boy Stephen Whyte promised me.

Did he not arrive?  I sent him on his way with your address written on my Exeter Uni ticket stub from the Guaranteed tour to prove he was from me.  I even gave him a pair of shoes for the walk to Oxford.  You have my permission to thrash him when he does turn up, although annoyingly the little blighter does tend to enjoy it.

All the chat regarding Alex's 42nd birthday has only served to remind me that i'll be turning 30 in less than 4 weeks time.  Can't wait...
