Hey Digestives ...

... does anyone have a list of L42 songs that have
been sampled in other tracks? (see my other post, this
Digest).

In my search for the above, I visited:

http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?level.42

and was completely underwhelmed. Half the links on the
home page didn't work.

Cheers ~ Mike (Sydney City Milkman)

P.S. Does my arse look big in this post?

My fellow Digestives ...

... I'd like to share with you a post from 30 June
1998, originally submitted by the Rt Hon Sir Laurence
Green MP. I feel this advice is as valid now as it was
back then. And I quote:

With my record of exemplery spelling and grammar I
feel I am in a position to offer some of the other
digesters advice in this field, to help the digest
flow more smoothly.
1) Avoid using ampersands & abbreviations etc.
2) Remarks in brackets (however relevant they may
seem) are unnecessary.
3) Correct spelling is benificiel.
4) Avoid cliches like the plague.
5) Comparisons are as bad as cliches.
6) Foreign words and phrases are not apropos and such
usage would render oneself persona non gratis.
7) One-word sentences? Eliminate.
8) Analogies in writing are like feathers on a snake.
9) Go around the barn at high noon to avoid
colloquialisms.
10) Don't use, comma's or apostrophe's that, are
unnecessary.

Cheer's ~ Mike (Sydney Sity, Milkman)

face value, whether it's true or not?

No. Next question.

> And please tell me you don't use words like
'apocryphal' in everyday conversation

My motto is "Never use a one syllable word when a
three syllable one will do".
