OK Goodwin, or Friesen, or whoever you are, you've asked for it.  You come strolling back into our lives after 6 months without so much as an apology for leaving us in the first place and now you have the audacity to question Lindup's songwriting...?

Buy Changes.  Be amazed.

Level 42 Digest for Thursday, July 07, 2005
I work in central London.  I start my editing shift at 7am, so thankfully i was holed up in my suite well before the first of the attacks hit the tubes.  I popped outside a minute ago and all i could hear were sirens.  The whole tube network is currently down, for obvious reasons, so it looks like a long long walk home for me to Clapham, south London later tonight.

Still, at least i can still walk though.

Bastards.

Hi All,

And specially to all the brits.... congratulations on winning the bid on hosting the London 2012 Olympic Games. I was mobilized to serve in the security for the International Olympics Council or IOC here in Singapore and was able to witness the result that was broadcasted on the telly. I was assigned to serve the minister of sports and culture of UK (it's no secret) and her lovely personal assistant, and had the opportunity of congratulating them on their success. All the best to England and the 2012 Olympics in London.

Cheers....

Ego and pride, the great divide....

I second that motion. Summer time would be a great time to come down. It would be a great working holiday.

>>So panel, explain to me again what happen to Level 42? <<

There's been a few different explanations offered. the common theme seems to be the old "We've gone as far as we can" chestnut, which I've always hated as an explanation for situations like this. A few comic strip artists used it back in the 90's, one of whom (Berke Breathed) has since come back. Now, Mark has gone and done the same thing. First with the "Greatest Hits" band, and now with the supposed new album in the works. We'll see what happens.

Home improvement AND an artistic retreat? Take "all in one" to an entire new level...

That's frikkin' stupid. You saved me two hours of my life better spent on other things.

Easily the best of all the solo efforts, and it's stood the test of time remarkably well. I believe someone just posted that Mike is selling it on his site, so you might be able to get it for a better price than from a dealer who'll slap a "rare and out of print" label on it.

What's this now? It's listed on the back of my CD. I have the Japanese version from 1990- was that different from other versions?
