"Back to reality and talking of touring, has anyone
seen an 80s act play live recently?"

A reasonably recent one that springs to mind because these guys give fantastic
value for money is Go West. I happen to love 'em and they just get better.
They come on and the next time you sit down is when you get in the car to
go home. The original Go West fans have got older, balder and fatter but
when we all get in the same room it is just like the Runaway Train Tour of
1986 (?)

Another recomendation would be Incognito. They played a brilliant set last
year at the Jazz Cafe last year. I don't know how anyone can be this funky.

Finally, and fresh from my trip to the Brixton Academy last night, would
be Faithless. I guess you have to love 'em to appreciate this sort of thing,
but they were amazing (again). Good venue too - nice sticky floor, readily
accessible beer and passive imbibing of spiky leafed substances all night.
No wonder I fealt good.

I must also agree with a the recent digester who also pointed out the merits
of this forum for non-L42 related items. I've picked up some great new stuff
here too. Keep it coming.

Lol (in NYC) any inside news on Bluey's next tour. I need that front row
again.

Regards and best wishes to all

Fred Simpson
