Happy Birthday to forevernow.com - the site is five years old as of last Thursday!  Big shoutout goes to Carl Mueller for keeping this excellent site current, even with the recent arrival of his twins...

This is waaaay off topic, but does anyone have current information for Charl Mocke from Cape Town?   I need to get in touch with him.  If you do, please e-mail me privately.  Thanks...

Yo,

First I get "coruscating" explained without actually
having to get up and access my dictionary - a neat
trick! Beautiful word!

Then, I get a barrage of hip hop lingo from some nice
Gangsta of San Juan Capistrano, which, if you've been
there, you know is where the swallows (or are they
Homey Pigeons?) come back each year to the suburbs (I
mean "hood").

Would that Junipero Serra were still alive, he'd flog
the daylights out of you for slang such as "cheddar"
and "janky." But we live in more enlightened times. :)

I think.

To the person seeking Forever Now, you won't be
disappointed. It's a great album, and as it turns out,
a great swan song. Enjoy, it will stay in your CD
player for weeks, I bet.

peace out,
-Tom
