Hi All
Well said Lolita, I have to agree with your comments.
It is a shame that the web thing actually had to start............

and Lolita is the Australian visit still happening

Yes!  I think that means its time for a Sydney Levelfest like last time I was there!  I land on February 9th and will be in Sydney for a full week before moving on, so we should plan to hook up on the weekend.  Perhaps Saturday February 14th - appropriate to be on Valentine's Day since we all LOVE Level 42 :-).  Mike and another digester have already been in touch, and Mike can likely find Rebecca, so there would be at least five of us there.  Very cool...

I know what you mean Lolita. I wish this digest a continuous and infinite run.

Dean - I know what you mean about Mike's Brasil 2000 on Conversations WS. It was a favourite of mine too, and nice to hear those keyboards and vocals.

Incidentily, I caught a paparazzo on 'E!' refer to Sum41 as Sum 42; it seems Level42 were more popular in the US than I thought!

Back to the UK, did you know the TV show 'Early Doors' had a scene where two guys in a pub were discussing Level42, The Chinese Way and Mark King's bass playing!I think one of them even sang a bit!

FLAVOR00-NONE-0000-0000-000000000000 3.0 ;
I couldn't have said it better myself, Ms. Lolita...

Even though I am still a member of the web digest, I don't contribute anymore.  I have become what I was before...a silent member.
Being a fan of Level 42 since 1982, I have tried to gather whatever info that I could from the w.d., but as of late, there really hasn't been too much to be excited for (in my humble opinion, of course).  Being that I am from the United States, there isn't anything hardly said about L42, let alone, Mark doesn't bring the band over this way, so the digest is really the only way for me to find out anything about Level 42 (past and present members).
I notice the same things about people having conversations with eachother..and many times I've tried to put my little 2 cents in, and hoping that someone would join in the topic I might have began or contributed to, but, in the end, finding that I have been ignored completely.  I feel left out so therefore I say nothing anymore.
I joined to be able to reach out to other fans from other countries that enjoy Level 42 as much as I do.  I believed the spirit of the digest was to build bridges toward eachother via our love of Level 42's music...

My thanks to Mike Lindup for keeping up with the fans through his web site.  Boon Gould, as well before his site was pulled.  Now it'd be nice to hear from Phil Gould...I'm a fan who's waiting patiently for the music that Ms. Pink was sent....it'd be nice to hear what Phil's been doing lately....

P.s....thanks to all those who I have the privilege of befriending through the web digest (and you know who you all are)...good wishes in the New Year to all the Level 42 fans...God Bless

Have you noticed that, on the occasion when a Web-Digester pops over to the e-mail Digest, it's almost always to say something negative or to start some trouble?

That's basically the difference, I think.  Those of us who've had quite enough of the noise prefer the more decorous atmosphere of the e-mail version.  Vive la difference!

This is the place to be. I`m not interested in the web
digest in the least. This forum is my daily newspaper
and I like it that way. CHEERS and HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL!
