Well, Anthony Kay is the new Kurtis Kegley but apart from that, yes, as you
were.

Ohne Filter - Musik Pur: Mark King in Concert : What is this?

That's a German TV appearance from 1999.  It's unique in a couple of ways:  first, it's rare video of Mark playing his GB basses, even if the bass is mixed terribly low;  second, Mark is wearing on his guitar strap the Digest pin I had given him before the Ryde show.  It is plainly visible on the cover and in the video!  :o)

Live  ~ Level 42 Release Date: September 16, 2003 ; Again, what is this?

No track list, so no way to tell.

That's "Live at Reading, 2001" or whatever the official title is.  It has been available via Level42.com for ages.

I finally got my personal letter from Mark King today telling me what great
memories he has of Reading 2001. The Reading gig's next Monday, at this rate
he won't be remembering that Oxford really stands out as something special
for another couple of weeks yet.

I can't imagine anyone does but then I never cease to be amazed by what
people collect, so if anyone (presumably overseas) can make any use of this
frankly rather sad photocopied piece of soliciting and the accompanying tour
flier, drop me a line.

I was in Red Eye Records in Sydney city today - good
for imports, albeit at a price. I was flicking, as you
do, through the 'L' section and there they were - both
Trash and Live At The Jazz Cafe. The price ... A$65
each! A shop-typed sticker on each of them read "File:
LEVEL 42 - Ltd ed - 5000 pieces. Released by Mark
himself!" I didn't think they were meant to be
retailed ... and where would Red Eye have got them?
Whatever the answer, it was good to see them at such a
healthy asking price!

Then I had some sushi and went home. Do I win a
tenner?

Cheers ~ Mike (Sydney City Milkman)
