Well, just getting back from a two week holiday in the UK and getting over some severe jetlag - I have to say that I thought this tour was much better than I expected it to be! I saw them at Oxford & Cheltenham, at the front and near Mark each tour - great gigs! I had a "cool" lengthy chat with Mark and brief conversation with Nathan after the Oxford gig. They seemed to be really "excited" about still touring - I hope that feeling carries on for a few more years - with some NEW material in the works as Mark did mention, fingers crossed!

SPECIAL THANKS go out to Mark & Linda Beardsley, Andy Smith & Family, Glyn Willett and Phil Lee! Without you guys, this trip would have been PANTS!

I hope those here in the USA (and ex-pats abroad) have a HAPPY AND SAFE THANKSGIVING!

MIKEY

2.  Gould Brothers - Live At Wembley '88 question

Regarding the question from Chris Lawless about why the ‘Live At Wembley’ CD from the 1988 SATS tour dies not feature any pics of the Gould brothers, that’s probably because they had already left. They left the band in late ’87 during the RITF tour - Mark & Mike hired (among others) Gary Husband and Steve Topping to fulfil the remainder of the dates. I was lucky enough to see this line-up, as they played my hometown of Dublin on 6th February 1988 – the show had been postponed from the month before to allow more time for the new band to rehearse. Audio of this show exists.

Does anybody know if any video footage exists of this line-up playing together, either concert material or from TV performances? I know of at least one, but I have never seen it since it was transmitted.

Cheers,

Anselm.
