Just a quick note wishing all you Level 42 fans out there a very Happy and Peaceful New Year.

The highlight of the Year for me was seeing the new line-up in Hanover on 3 December.  A memorable concert with all the old favourites songs then meeting and speaking with Mark at the end of the concert.

What has been nice is to receive e Mails from Level 42 fans from the digest already.  I have answered every one of them and still intend to do so.  So feel free to write.

Anyhow here is my 'top 10' of Level 42 tunes.  I know that we will all differ but mine are (of course in reverse order)!

No 10   A Pharaoh's Dream

No 9     You can't blame Louis

No 8     Children Say

No 7     Weave Your Spell

No 6     Love Meeting Love

No 5     Lying Still

No 4     Chinese Way

No 3     Love Games

No 2     Starchild

No1      Something about You Video and Song 'pure brilliance.'

regards Danny

Hello, gang, and Happy New Year!

I'm now intrigued by the message about a VCD... did someone compile the
post-TCOY videos on a VCD? I have Level Best on VHS and at some point, I'm
transferring it to DVD.

So can someone shed some light on my behalf?

Also, my Unreached Levels CDs (specifically 1 and 3) are knackered. Would
someone on the digest be willing to help me out in recovering them? Feel free
to respond to my private e-mail if you'd prefer.

Possibly he doesn't want to work with others and simply likes producing music for/by himself because Level 42, for so many years, was such a collaborative thing.

I'm pretty sure they did appear...  see: http://www.worldmachine.com/level42/archive/Level_42_Digest_for_Saturday_December_28_2002.html#13

On a side note, the archives will soon be indexed and searchable...  but for the
time being, they're stored on the Digest site in the filename-format shown above.

cheers,
Eric

p.s.  exactly 42 minutes until 2003!  :)
