I alleviate the group's collective boredom (AG -
that's "ennui") with something amazing.

And you think you waste your time? Look at what this
person has done: A series of Tarot cards based on 80's
musicians. The sheer depth of it takes my breath away.

Apologies if you've seen it before, but I thought you
"working" surfers with plenty o' time to kill would
get a jolly or two . . .

Sorry for the double AG reference, but much respect to
the man with four kids and an active life - my
goodness, to think you have time for anything else!
I'm exhausted by just the one we have!

And yet, in my digest travels and in passing around my
original CD to some folks, I met a digester (wonderful
family!) with, get ready, 11 kids, including various
sets of twins, most or all under the age of 12? I
believe? Amazing people are on this list, some lurking
for sure, I won't blow their cover.

Anyhoo, as for you Friesen, I take so much legitimate
umbrage at being labeled a "gypsum faced froth pot"
that I heartily encourage you to participate in a
major crime conspiracy, get caught, rat out on your
compatriots, and enroll yourself into a witness
protection program, for your own safety. :) Toronto
SARS threats are keeping you safe, for now. . .

Alas you credit me with far too ardent an ambition. If I remember rightly
I'd ‘love to be an aspiring journalist’, so I haven't even reached the heady
heights of desire yet.

Laurence, I was curmudgeonly when you were still a yappy little puppy. Now
away with you and find your own Digest persona.

David Grant, somewhat bathetically, was last seen advising on vocal
performance on ITV's Pop Idol. I think he does corporate events as well.
Sketch Martin I have no idea about. I've been trying for a while to find a
Linx Greatest Hits on CD, but it appears that no such thing exists, unless
anyone knows better?

Evildoer, I think the Level 42 purists have earned a little rest from any
Fagen-based rhetoric for a while. Apart from anything else, they need time
to compose more joyfully speculative abuse. If others, as I suspect they
might, respond then I may find myself inexorably drawn in to the debate, but
I'm not going to be in the vanguard.
