Ah jt our very own 'professional music critic', you
are spot on for once in your life.
I find our local playgroup when I drop off my young
son contains far more intelligence than any single one of your postings. So yes
it must be my level of understanding. I seem to get simple and straightforward
conversation there whereas I cannot understand over 90% of what you
write!
With AG I just need a dictionary and a sense of humour (sometimes forget that though!) With you I need a
translator.
Judging by my inbox, plenty of the other digesters
seem to have the same opinion.
Can anyone verify if this sharmin is for real or is
this jt drumming up some 'personal' support for himself.
Onto things that matter. The news on the original
group is really exciting and I cannot wait to see what they produce.
cheers
Pete (professional music listener,
apparently)

The boundaries seem pretty clear, one just needs to (apparently) ask WHICH "level42"; the Touring Troupe (aka 'we're not deemed worthy enough to write our own tunes') or the (potential) Studio Savants (aka 'steely dan didn't like touring either, and they were successful'). > they'll have new material to perform > at the next tour they didn't write - big deal. Loz, picture the same scenario taking place at your job, and while your at it, make me 3 copies of this form and bring me a coffee, damnit. - Aaron >I have been exchanging E mails with > Mark King already, who says that he and the band are > really looking forward to it, as it was such fun > last time! a nice compliment from the great man! i > am not worthy! um, Aaron, did you check that canned reply for botulism? > 6. I, AG, Robot > From: Eric J. Hansen -AG > Does anybody > actually know who the ventriloquist is? Cliff Robertson? > He [jt] idolises me. He's never been the same since >I got the restraining order though. Very true. Although I will never forgive you for bringing The Law in, and tell Loundy to stay of my back; a post directed at you is not a violation of my parole. :) ;) :/ :# there's some 'smileys' for the humour impaired, scatter them throughout my post, j [the cliff robertson line is, for those not familiar with a nifty ol' 60s tele show called the Twilight Zone, a ref to an episode called "The Dummy", where, amazingly enough, CR was a ventriloquist to a murdering 'dummy'. the title of the post, because I will slowly start to completely metamorphose (or “copy”, if your will) into _AG, The Live Version_, is a book title. (a book without pictures, though, so I may be losing some of my trusted audience here…] __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Is it possible to confirm the announcement from Boon Gould regarding this "alleged" new studio album collaboration - on the official sites of Mark King, Mike Lindup, and Phil Gould? The webmasters on these sites have been very quiet - for such BIG news! I realise that word and news from the "guys" themselves to their webmasters are hard to come by - would be cool to see a united and clear message on each members website. Just trying to see if this is wishful thinking on Boon's part - or if they are really serious this time - as another "Oh yeah - we're going to do this and that and go tour there and there..........!!!" will seriously damage the remaining "LOYAL" fan base that is left IMHO! That reminds me (RANT)- has anybody noticed that the only time that MK.com - sorry, L42.com is updated (no offense to Morgan and Paul - I know you guys try to do the best you can with what you get) is when items are put up for SALE? NO - real news to speak of, no replies to our questions, no serious information about what Level 42 (members within) are doing during the breaks between tours - some updated news, pictures, and info would be cool from time to time - I do like what ML.com (Bilal and Co.) has done for Mike - as well as for Boon Gould's site - much more personalised. AND again Paul and Morgan - this isn't directed towards you "dedicated" fans. It is just a shame that un-official websites like FN.com tend to be updated and current with some news and various bits - where L42.com remains almost life-less! Also - I know that I will be opening a "can of worms" on this following statement - but I really regard L42 as a mindset, not so much as the old or new band. But, I think Mark should, in all fairness to the old founding members of L42, change the name of his current line-up to "Level 42 - Reloaded" or "Level 42 - Revisited", even "Level 42 - The Next Generation" I could do this for hours - but for the sake of digesters already asleep - I'll stop here! AND - before someone decides to take my post "the wrong way" I am not inferring at this point (changed my views on this from a few months ago) - that MK is money-hungry - just asking for some more interaction and substance on L42.com. | Re AG You try to come across as intelligent and artistic but it doesn't work,i will not have a discussion with someone that thinks he knows about Level 42,but actually knows very little. Try the chuckle brothers web site its more suitable for you. Don't bother replying to my e-mail i only want conversations with Level 42 fans. _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail messages direct to your mobile phone http://www.msn.co.uk/msnmobile | ||

Cool site! There's some stuff there
(photo/clippings) that I hadn't seen before... and also some demo tracks
that are seriously difficult to come by.
Keep up the good work :)
cheers,
