1.  next year..

In response to Allan’s question…what I’ve been hearing is that, contrary to some

‘rumours’, their WILL be a tour next year, and it will have NEWLY written songs.

After 2 sucessful tours, with basic hits, and some uncommon tracks thrown in,

It would be very difficult to do this same ‘type’ of tour again. Next year would have to

be advertised as something NEW  to get the same turnout, or a better response

In attendance.

OK, so it's been ages since we've posted anything about this years Britfest on here but can I say that the Britfest is still well and truly ON. We're hoping to put up a proper website that will list the days events and also display info on how to get to the venue very soon so please keep an eye out on the digest for more news.

For those of you who don't know, this years Britfest will be on Sunday 23rd November at the Collingwood Suite, Gosling Sports Park, Stanborough Road, Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, UK from 2pm till 11pm. There will be an entrance fee of £10 in order to cover for the cost of hiring the venue and also for buffet food to be provided. There will also be a bar open all day as well.

As I said, we will post more details on the days event on the website but as a tempter, these are a few things we have going on during the day:

Collection Corner - returns after a year absence. Here you can find many weird and wonderful records from the band along with items of memorabilia from the bands past.

Auction - this has yet to be finalised but as soon as items are confirmed, we will list them on the website.

Level 24 - tribute band will be performing live. We could have another tribute band playing as well although this has yet to be confirmed.

Jam session - returns for all you budding musos to get a chance to play or sing at the end of the evening.

Just a flavour as to what to expect on the day so please come along and join in the fun. Your input is our output!

Glyn.

3.  Levelfest in Denmark

Couldn't it be nice to have a levelfest in Denmark? Well, there are some people who believe so. We don't know when it will be (hopefully 2004), and we don't how it's all going to work out. But we do know that we will struggle for it to come true.

You can read more about it at www.levelfest.dk. It would be great to hear if there's a serious interest in such an event.

From Allan Robertson yesterday....

>>After the tour has finished - does mark have enough left in the tank to come back next year? without new material - was there many sold out places this year? maybe a >>couple.

>>whats everyones views?

The buzz seems to be that next year's tour will be to support the new album.
Also I hear that The Hammersmith show is being filmed for DVD release.
