Mr Goodwin

Please consider me for the position of Running Gag. I believe I can be a
suitable object of ridicule and will happily absorb untold amounts of your
cutting wit and subtle sarcasm.

I also believe that I'm suitably qualified - i drink vast amounts of
alcohol on a regular basis, i own a mobile phone with an annoying ringtone
and a sky-high monthly bill caused by endlessly texting friends, i like to
stand at concerts (and will do so at the Brighton gig on Nov 6th) and I
collect numerous versions of the same L42 items. I was also mercilessly
bullied at school - becoming an expert in retreiving my underwear from by
backside following daily wedgies. I also promise to post meaningless chat
on a daily basis - allowing you to disect said posts and provide others
with humour at my misfortune.

Please note that I am neither a Christian, a homosexual or a fan of Steely
Dan, but I feel that these should not be held against me.

I look forward to hearing from you in due course.

Humble as always,
Steve

No, I think only UK and Japan had releases of TET, each with its own cover art.  Like you, I bought my first copy, which was the Japanese release (with full-color cover), from Audiophile Imports.  Later, on a trip to London, I picked up the UK release (ugly cover) at HMV or Virgin at Picadilly Circus.

I still found it in London in 2001, which was my last visit to the UK.  It probably still can be found.
