Alex..what i was talking about was the use of
'backing tracks', not a sequencer, which we all know
has been used in the band since at least true colors.

I think we were discussing using prerecorded tracks
of vocals or instruments. I asked this question to
Mark King 3 days ago, and his response was what i
posted.

Now it 'could' be he is talking about 'THIS' tour,
and not a previous tour, since Don is talking about
a song that is NOT currently being performed.

So, Don, ask Mark yaself and clear it all up, if you
care to do..

Win

p.s. thanks for the gift, didnt know u could bake ;-)

who knows...but if this is the situations, kinda says
alot of the Cover42 line-up...'well, you boys are ok
to play the stuff live, mainly because the other boys
dont want to, but in no way will you create
anything...' this says a hell of alot, actually.

not sure what this 'diehard' thing is...sounds liek
your ability to thin objectivly (at least in this
case) could very well be clouded.

well lots of CDs will come out in 2003, dozens each
week. So that could be a sly answer to your question
that seems to be answered withthe exact opposite when
anyone else ponders it to him. Or we could just have
anoer internet release of Cover42 playing along to the
hits.

> That is bullsh*t, even if it came from MK himself.

It seems beyond clear that MK doesn't always think
being honest with the fans is...'a priority'.

Do you not think that when a band such as Level 42 who have been so successful after so many years looses a member and someone steps in to take their place it must take a lot of guts and be very scary

I can only say that anyone who walks on stage with MK and plays as well as they all do has my utmost respect and admiration and i only wish i could play half as well as any of them regardless of who is better than who

They all bring their own individuality to the songs new and old and for that i personally say thanks to all of you from the original line up to the present day and lets not forget the late Alan Murphy god rest his soul

Hi, Merry xmas to thems that celebrate it.

One Man - great song, written by Mark King solo, I
believe? So let's recognize that more great material
may be *possible*

In ancient Mexican mythology, "Quetzalcoatl" was the
god of the Air. He presided over commerce, and was
said to have predicted the coming of the Spaniards.
Sort of a feathered serpent kind of thing. Is this the
lyric in One Man?

wishing you all Good Music in the New Year!

Greetings everyone,

I just wanted to send out a quick message wishing you a merry Christmas and all the best this coming new year. I am currently out in Baltimore, MD where we’ve got 2 inches of snow so far today! This is pretty exciting for a California boy.

Anyway, I hope you’re all healthy and happy with your loved ones today. Take care of yourselves,

I hope all of you had a lovely Xmas....the family allowed me to play one Level 42 CD at least.

I was looking at the Level 42 Greatest Hits Video last night and I hope someone here could answer me this question.

Near the end of the 'Something about you' video whilst Mark is sitting on the train he 'mimes' some words.  I have never been able to decipher the message .....anyone know the answer?

Many thanks and keep safe

Danny

I never thought I'd be writing this but "nice one,
Loz."

The original was always the best ...
