Well Bri, I've always been a bit of a Schaller man myself, from the big open-geared M4S's on the Wal to the smaller enclosed types on a couple of my other basses, and interestingly enough even the machines on my cheap 'n' nasty Squier Jazz are stamped 'licensed by Schaller', so I guess they count too, but having said that I'd be interested to try these new Hipshot tuners that seem to be cropping up all over the plazzzzzzzz.... whoa, sorry about that. Just nodded off for a second. Again. :-) regards Rich ------------------------------ Subject: Re: Level42 Digest V2001 #218 From: "Laurence F. GREEN(SED)" Date: Tue, 07 Aug 2001 11:14:58 +0100 Whats wrong with the digest. Lets face it, if you're spending time you're adding to a cumulative IQ reaching the dissy heights (so far) of about 112, and that includes me. So lets have a moratorium on intellectualism (oh blo**dy h*ll, I'm at it now). And whats all the talk about chocolate bars: (to the tune Kansas City Milkman) Bored of the taste Of American chocolate bars hear what we say If we put this food in your hand Would you really like to know Cadbury's Crunchie would you really like to know I eat chocolate, as you have heard but these yankeee bars, they taste like t*rd yeah a revival thats my aim A UK crunchie in every store, in that there is no shame - is there 111 after that L()Z ----------------- ------------------------------ Subject: Where To Buy Both Starchild 12" Singles From: Paul Fucito Date: Tue, 7 Aug 2001 06:22:38 -0700 (PDT) Since my last pots, I have been asked by many where to find the 12" records. You can order them both here, rather cheeply too: http://www.dancetracks.com/top10archive/NewReleases-2.19.2001.html The 12" with the Bob Sinclair mix (although not the best on the 12" as I described in the last post) is the one to get. The audio sample is NOT the best version on the 12" either. Paul __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Make international calls for as low as $.04/minute with Yahoo! I've always been rather amused at a name like mine belonging to the inveterate pessimist loser that I am. As for Friesen, I always presumed the origin was bovine. He certainly talks enough bull. >Subject: CRUNCHIE >From: "Donald Ramakers" > >Now, if I could only get Cadbury chocolate milk........ Ah, the plight of the international chocolate milk drinker. My own trauma relates to the elusive Cola Cao, available as far as I can tell only in Spain and (in a cruel twist of the knife) Ireland. Here I sit muddling through with Co-op own brand. It's too sad to countenance. This is the Lactose International Daily newsgroup isn't it? It strikes me that since I last posted anything on the subject of Level 42 some time has elapsed – only two or three years, but I like to keep my hand in. So here's my question. Who was Level 42's best producer and why? See, I can be as prosaic as the next man. AG PS For the genealogists amongst you, apparently my forebears were makers of good wine. Which is pretty funny since I haven't had a drink these last 12 years. _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp ------------------------------ Subject: Re: CRUNCHIE From: Nathania Apple Date: Tue, 07 Aug 2001 16:46:06 -0700 > Subject: CRUNCHIE > From: "Donald Ramakers" > Date: Mon, 6 Aug 2001 09:43:18 -0700 >I'm going to look for an online vendor in Canada or maybe even > here (but I doubt it). Donald, Try http://www.teaandsympathynewyork.com or call them directly at (212) 989-9735. They are the most wonderful English restaurant and shop, located in Greenwich Village. I was in this afternoon and saw Crunchies and all manner of Cadbury's products on the shelves. They do offer mail order service. Have fun indulging your sweet tooth. Nathania P.S. Lolita - looks like Ford LA is going to happen! Had a great time last night. You just keep being your beautiful self!
