I figured they cant be 'that' bad. I kinda dig it. You aren't the only one. Don't forget who encouraged you to check them out. I like their second album much more than the first, which, I understand, makes things even worse for me. I fully expect to encur the wrath of a certain person, go ahead and spead a few days ranting at me. :D Pat Flanagan ------------------------------ Subject: Holo Music From: alex.friesen @ sickkids.ca Date: Wed, 30 May 2001 09:47:45 -0400 >From: "Colin Gupta" > >Until the day when we have a hologram of an artist's performance in our >living rooms, we have to take what we can get. > Let me know when the Lauren Hill hologram is available. Make sure Phil knows we're interested in his exploits. ...Alex... ------------------------------ Subject: briefest From: "Brian Flint" Date: Wed, 30 May 2001 14:43:15 Good job Mr. Lee, calling out your spelling error before us vultures swoop down upon it, I had already mentally created my first draft before I had read your followup post. If more people were like yourself and faced their mistakes like men....ah but to dream. Well folks, it's encouraging to see that I can ignore the digest for a span and still come back to see nothings changed. I have a bit of selfish news to impart. My new band is gigging regular in the sacramento area. So if any of you have plans to visit Sacramento, the vacation resort that it is, and would like to check us out, let me know and I'll hook you up. L42 content? Well yes there is......I bought a regatta simulator for my computer, and the second 5 races are where? That's right, off the coast of the Isle of Wight. Ah yes, nothing like immersing myself in a jolly contest of virtual sailing. I can almost see Mark himself standing near the light house, cheering me on as I strategically tack, blocking the wind of my opponent as we sally forth downwind towards the comittee boat to a phot finish. I'm sorry, are you guy's still here? I thought I was alone. Until later, cheers from the sanitarium Big Bass Bri _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com ------------------------------ Subject: Level 42 Ticket From: Daniel James Date: Wed, 30 May 2001 09:58:29 -0700 > Has anyone ever gotten out of a ticket after the cop heard L42 playing in > your car? From: Michael Thomas Payne Date: Wed, 30 May 2001 18:31:08 -0500 Well, first I want to give credit to Lisa & Marcus for http://www.philgould.com: This comment was by Phil Gould in the Latest News heading: ".......... We all want to avoid any hint of a re-union................" Why is Phil and the "we", so against the smallest of prospects that they may play under the Level 42 name again, was it that bad and traumatic? Geez! As if a future reunion would be such a bad and evil thing. From: ElSavannah @ aol.com Date: Thu, 31 May 2001 05:44:38 EDT I agree totally with Win, Dan and Lolita. The time is not right or the band to reform just yet. Mike is busy with De Lata and other things, Boon is busy with his solo stuff as is mark and Phil is mega busy with the new album and his other projects (as detailed on the site) to regroup now would be a mistake in that it would detract from the guys trying to establish themselves as individual musicians which they all have a right to do. Maybe one day a bit further down the road we can hope realistically for a re union but not just yet. Until then should we not try to just enjoy what we have got which is four musicians releasing materialas opposed to one band releasing stuff - lots more to go round if you ask me !!! thansk to all for the kind wishes about www.philgould.com glad you all liked it ( and it is a huge relief to know that Phil does too!)
