Hi levelheads,
Yeserday (wedensday), Tav the tiny bass player and I was at my local train
station (west byfleet) I saw a who woman was wearing a t-shirt, and I saw at
the back for the t-shirt, it had tour dates for '85-'86, written in the same
style as the level 42 thing on the cover of world machine, so I thout 'could
it be?',and as soon as she turned round it said LEVEL 42 in massive writing!
We where so shocked, it looked old (suprisingly!), is it any one on the
digest by any chance? Anyway...
Take Care Of yoursleves,
humph42...

In message <20010524100004.20417.qmail @ mail.worldmachine.com>, Level42
Digest writes
>Prices start as low as two
>Lighthouse Family albums.
And that's actually a lower price than one Lighthouse Family album.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the brilliant
songwriting talents of Richard Marx. Especially Right Here Waiting, Now &
Forever, Satisfied and the electric Touch of Heaven.
Surely some of the American Digeters must have his music in their collection.
All the best Lesley
PS His website address is www. richardmarx.com
PPS Has anyone heard about the American's banning Janet Jackson's All For You?
My response to that is
'You are the weakest link goodbye.....'

The Trax page at Boon's site has been updated with another one of Boon's
previously unreleased songs. This one was written in 1988, around the
time Staring At The Sun was written, and was originally intended to be
included on his Tin Man solo album. It didn't make it, however, but now
you have a chance to hear it.

Hello ALL, I hope everybody is doing well and for those living in the US &
UK, a long three day weekend full of sleep and pure and utter laziness!
Does anybody know if the Ferry Aid single, Let It Be, was ever re-released
onto a CD format? For those of you who do not know what I am talking about,
many musical artists, including our own Mark King, joined along together in
a sort of "We Are The World" format and sang the Beatles classic. Mark
sings the line, "...and when the broken hearted people, living in the world
agree.." or something to that effect, this was in aid of the Zeebrugges
ferry that capsized killing many, many people. Just curious.....
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!!!!

Hi guys and gals!
I'm not particularly clued up on all the L42 remixes so maybe somebody can
help. The other day I went to the site that there's a link to from the
level42.com jukebox and downloaded an mp3 called The Sun Goes Down (Tin Tin
Out) and I was hoping that someone smarter than me could tell me what the
connection is with the original, because I can't hear any similarity at all.
Or is that the point? It sounds to me kind of like the Shamen meet
Jean-Michel Jarre and I'm not quite sure where L42 fit in.
David, who's finally joined the world of sound cards (thanks to my employer
for giving me yet another way of managing to avoid doing any work)
