But RITF as the worst? Doesn't Trash REALLY have the worst cover art? Is there a difference in artwork between FN's two album incarnations? Someday I'm going to have to look up the word "anorak". Have Fun!!!!!!!!!!! all the best Pete ------------------------------ Subject: Level 42 personal compilation From: Lolitaj @ aol.com Date: Sat, 05 May 2001 20:26:16 EDT <> I actually did this a number of years ago - Winman burned a compilation CD for me that I call 'First and 10' because it contains at least one song from each CD. I cheated and put two songs from The Early Tapes, Standing in the Light and True Colors since I had extra room, but here is the track list: 1. Love Meeting Love 2. Autumn 3. 43 4. The Pursuit of Accidents [the song] 5. People 6. The Machine Stops 7. True Believers 8. My Hero 9. Dream Crazy 10.Children Say 11.Man 12.Overtime 13.Romance If I had to drop songs from albums that were already represented at least once, I would drop Autumn, People and My Hero. Another interesting exercize would be to make a compilation of the top live performances ever. You would not be able to list a song more than once, or more than one song from a particular show. For example: 1. True Believers, Isle of Wight 2000 2. World Machine, Jazz Cafe 1999 3. Children Say, Guaranteed Live 1991 4. Love Games, Rockpalast 1983 Try making a 13 song listing of this type. I would be very curious to see what folks come up with. Lolita
