I wanted to know where her shop was so I might go there and have a look at what she's up to nowadays. I wasn't even intending on speaking to her. My god, some people have no life... Have you considered the fact that she might want people to come to her shop? It's not like it's her private home or something. My mum has a shop and she'd welcome the advertising anyday. >I rarely post anything here that could be considered any >thing other than tongue in cheek, but on this occasion, I >believe this is fanatasism gone too far and should stop. LOL! Excuse me, but you must be taking the piss. I can't take your post seriously... But the Annie store info was just a response to an innocent question dude. I think someone mighthave asked 'didnt she or doesn't she have a shop'? And did it EVER occur to you that Annie herself provided her shop address? Why dont you %#$*& ask before shooting your mouth off in such a nasty, harsh way. I know some of us on this digest are a little thin skinned, but surely you dont need to be that mean in stating your case? It would be if it was a home adress, however we're talking about a shop here and that's something completely different. Ronald ------------------------------ Subject: Dancing On The Couch Go West From: l.godderidge @ talk21.com Date: Sat, 28 Apr 2001 16:50:49 +0100 Does anyone out there have a copy or the original CD of Go West's Dancing On The Couch that they can bear to part with a I'm having trouble trying to locate it. Also can someone answer me this question. Who is the silhouette man in the video for Red Box's hit Lean On Me who appears to be making shapes and symbols with his fingers. Is it a well-known bass player pehaps? So far on the Digest no-one has been able to answer this for me someone must have some idea as to who it is, if so get in touch. I think it may be time to relax there Bunty. Have a pint and chill out. 1. It doesn't matter if Annie played the bongos onstage, she still deserves just as much respect as anyone else in the band. You have no right to portray her as less of a musician by stating "she was a bloody backing singer 10 years ago for fuck sake" as if she was the go-go dancer. You're so worried about Annie's "personal details" yet you turn right around and slack her. 2. I don't remember anyone stating Mark's home address on the digest. Only his post office box. Big difference. Annie is running a business and most businesses thrive on customers. Any jackass can see that the posting of her shop's address (not her personal) is nothing but good advertisment. I don't see any "obsession" going on here. I think a vacation might be in order for you. Hell, even masturbation is good stress relief. "What's Mark's Address?""What trivia can I > gleen from my idols that hasn't been asked a > thousand times already". If Annie is the owner/proprietor of a small business these days, then I imagine she appreciates the extra traffic her Level 42 fame brings into the shop. Plenty of former celebrities who own restaurants and the like depend on their fading recognizability in this way. It wouldn't be impolite to visit her at work and ask a few fan questions--just be sure to buy something to show your appreciation.
