From: "Cookie Duster" Date: Mon, 20 Mar 2000 09:56:12 PST Hey all! Could someone please enlighten me as to the reason Mark chews gum during his concerts? By no means am I a singer and my only guess as to why he has gum in his mouth is to keep his mouth moist during his songs (as opposed to always heading for a glass of water). For those who know, is it a type of special gum or does he chew gums like Trident, Hubba Bubba, etc.? Just wondering..... Myself, I would find it hard to sing with gum in my mouth. From: "Zak Nilsson" Date: Mon, 20 Mar 2000 12:56:48 -0800 Well OK not really... it was more just a gathering of friends in Las Vegas. However, I took pictures for whoever is interested in putting some names to faces. It's all up on my web site at: http://www.xaqtly.com/vegas As always, a fabulous time was had by all. Vegas is definitely conducive to having a good time. ;) TCOY, Zak Nilsson zak @ xaqtly.com ------------------------------ Subject: quest From: KNAPPT @ ldcorp.com (KNAPPT) Date: Mon, 20 Mar 2000 15:57:08 -0500 >Tears for Fears. There are a LOT of TFF fans on this digest. re this: Roland has a new single out via the internet called ticket to the world. Personally, I like the song, but there is a 10pound minimum purchase on the site and none of the other singles avail for download are any good (IMHO) I heard a rumor on this digest that there would be a reunion, but personally I doubt it. There is more animosity between those 2 than anyone in l42 and I think an L42 reunion less unlikely than a tff one Also, kurt put out a new cd, but it is two TFF remakes (crappy) and the entire mayfield album, just with his name on it. (more crappy) and a waste of money if you already have the mayfield album. Rolands new album will be the first with his name and not the name Tears for fears (Roland Orzabal, for the uninitiated) TTFN (ta ta for now) theron ------------------------------ Subject: Problems with E-mail From: "Mike Payne" Date: Mon, 20 Mar 2000 17:25:53 CST Hello ALL, I have had several problems receiving and sending e-mails from my hotmail.com acct, you can continue to send email to me at mikeyp42 @ hotmail.com But, if you have problems sending me mail, please try my other address at: mike42 @ londonmail.com Some people are having problems sending/receiving mail from my accts, so hopefully this should rectify these SNAFU's Mikey42 ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Subject: Re: Level42 Digest V2000 #27 From: JJBAZ1 @ aol.com Date: Mon, 20 Mar 2000 20:22:29 EST To Greg L.-- Wish I lived in New York. Hello everybody!! Thanks as always Eric H. for your tireless work at keeping us all on the same page informed and somewhat unifed. We all appreciate it more that you know. Same goes for the Go West list. Can you tell us again how to view the current posts that have been sent the same day? I can't seem to do so. I mean the posts that will be appearing on the digest the following morning. My 2 cents worth on the Jazz Cafe CD. Sure, Mark could have spent a little more time mastering it, split up the songs onto individual tracks etc. but nevertheless I LOVE IT and am very thankful that he cares enough about us to rush stuff out to us. Esp. those of us that couldn't make it over for the shows. Sob :^( sniff.... BTW I am green with envy of everyone that has been able to make it to the MK and ML shows in recent months. Maybe oneday..... Maybe I've asked before but can anyone help me out with an online source for the 2CD Greatest Hits and More set since it looks like we will al be in the ground before the remastered back catalog is released. Thanks to Pascal and Winston for all the great trads and stuff that you guys have hooked me up with. Sean G. glad to hear that treatment is over. I hope that all is well. i look forward to seeing you and everyone at the Level Roundup on Sat. Matt, any new info, directions etc.? OK unless you own a DSS sat. system scroll down. If you do own a system and have a VHS hi-fi that you can record to from it is there anyway I could beg you to tape me a copy of the STING LIVE IN L.A. concert that is airing for free on weekend nights in March? I think that it is on Fri. Sat. and Sun. nights for free on one of the PPV channels. I would really appreciate it. I just found out about it or I would have mailed sooner. I think that this may be the last weekend for it. I can also play back S-VHS or JVC's new S-VHS ET if you can possibly record it in S-VHS. I certainly have stuff to trade or will just pay you outright for your trouble and expense. Thanks in advance. Well, I guess that's it. Sorry to go on so.
