From: "Andy Smith" Date: Wed, 28 Jun 2000 12:03:22 +0100 Greetings and welcome Michele! It's great to see people still joining the digest and Michele, wait 'till you get to a Levelfest - do your best, they're great fun! I hope everyone are well, it seems like an eternity since the Britfest 2. Will there be a BF3 this year? Come on Glynn, you know you can do it!! Mikey tells me that he may be in England during November - could this be the time? BTW, if anyone is interested, I have now sorted the BF2 jam session, it's on CD and I am happy to distribute. Funny thing - last week I received a phone call at home from a bloke in Australia asking to speak with Ian Buck! I was so surprised that I ended the call rather abruptly! So matey from Aussie, if you're here, my humble apologies!! Anyway, back to catching up with this years' digest messages with SITL playing at full volume!! (Some things just never change!) TCOY, Andy 'mad L43 trumpet bloke' Smith! Terri H. ------------------------------ Subject: Dominic Miller rocks... From: The Saint Date: Wed, 28 Jun 2000 20:13:37 -0700 (PDT) Just got back from the Sting concert in CT and Dominic Miller was playing some great guitar. That's the closest I've been to seeing ANYONE from Level 42, how sad is that.... But he plays some great guitar and Sting knows it. I was also excited to see Manu Katche on drums. I'm so used to seeing him in liner notes, but never on tour. Great show..... Next week, Earth, Wind & Fire. I get to hang out with the band after the show too......
