I should be going to the LWT studios on the South Bank in the Morning and I'll probably be in Central London in the afternoon. My other musical addiction The Corrs are palying on the cd UK TV show at the LWT studios. e-mail me if you want to hook up and talk about all things Level. I have a copy of the "White Funky". The quality of the recording is a bit rough, but then again it is a bootleg. I paid £10 for it about 7 years ago. Mark sings some alternative lyrics to "Lovegames" Instead of "if you won't you show your heart to me" he sings "if you won't show your t*ts to me". He also gets the set mixed up and calls "Last Chance" "Eyes Waterfalling". It's pretty good nevertheless. I have been a fan since the first time I heard Something About You. I have bought every cassette and disc I could find from Level 42 up to Forever Now. Can anyone tell me what's new. Are there any new albums/CDs that I have missed since Forever Now? ------------------------------ Subject: The Ape From: "Mark Summers" Date: Sun, 18 Jun 2000 23:45:43 -1000 "The Ape" isn't exactly a classic but I read a Mark King Interview in Bassist magazine 9 years ago just as "Guaranteed" was due out and he said The Ape came about from just jamming and it was all recorded first take (or at least Gary's drumming was) so that makes the song a little bit more special me thinks! :o) Mark Summers www.msummers.force9.co.uk www.msummers.force9.co.uk/level42.htm ------------------------------ Subject: Re: Level42 Digest V2000 #117 From: Jujeraga @ aol.com Date: Sun, 18 Jun 2000 22:08:48 EDT please take me off of your mailing list. thank you ------------------------------ Subject: Covers From: Martin Brindley Date: Mon, 19 Jun 2000 10:03:11 +0100 >So, today's challenge, if you're interested, is to come up with a track that >they could cover!!! Sunshine of your Love - Mark's always liked that one Walking On The Moon - Mark could jazz up the bassline Boys Of Summer - ok I've always liked that song so it would be kinda fun to hear it!
