Hansen" Date: Wed, 23 Feb 2000 03:40:12 -0500 Hi all -- there *was* going to be a mailing today of about a dozen new messages (mainly "welcome back" stuff), but due to continued hardware issues with our mail server, I had to replace a drive and that mail was lost... so if you posted something yesterday and want to see it make its way out there, please repost! Sorry! Eric -- Eric J. True, there's a lack of audience noise which spoils the atmosphere a bit, but what I've always liked about live albums is how some bands change the lyrics (even deliberately on occassions!), and add a bit here and a bit there. Prime examples on the JCCD (could this be a new standard abbreviation?) are the 'so rare' bit on Leaving me now and the instrumental break in the middle of Hot Water. What I don't like are the 'sound just like the record tracks' and unfortunately (maybe it's the samplers) there are one or two of those aswell. My opinions only. Chris M. 'I love the guy... really'
