I think I read someone mentioning a Mark show in Copenhagen some time in August. That event could be the base of a Danish Levelfest also including other scandinavian participants. Alessandro PS: the fact that Denmark is actually very far from almost all other non-Danish Scandinavian cities is very well known to me (I live in Helsinki, 2h flight away). A proper scandinavian levelfest should probably take place in Stockholm, the geographical centre... > > >22 DK Denmark > >1 FI Finland > >6 NO Norway > >13 SE Sweden > >What a surprise! From: rotuar79 @ snyoneva.cc.oneonta.edu Date: Mon, 17 May 1999 12:43:16 -0400 (EDT) It's that time again, the end of another semester is here. I won't have email access this summer so this will be my last correspondance with the digest for a while, (which I know really does'nt matter since none of you know who I am). I will definitely miss the daily postings and all the words I've been learning like "arse", and "slagging post" =-) I'll be back in the fall though, without a doubt!! One thing I wanted to mention is a L42 record I bought for $15 the other day. It has a picture of Mark, Mike, Phil, and Boon right on the record itself, circa the World Machine time period. I forget who recorded it and all that at the moment, but it has all live tracks. It starts with LIL, and also has Starchild, KCM, and i really can't remember the rest (I don't have a turntable at my apartment, so my enthusiasm has not been all that much yet. All i know is what I remember from staring at it for a while after I bought the thing) It is quite a spectacle to behold. I have never seen anything like it, and I'm just wondering what the possible value of such an item might be? $15 did not seem all that much to me. I've got the local record store on alert for anything L42 related, and he keeps amazing me by coming up with things like this. I got into a long conversation with him about the band one day, and he said, and I quote "I wish they were still around, when they were it seemed like music still had a chance." Needless to say, I do any of my music buying business with this guy. People like him are very rare around here. Well, I guess that's about it for my rambling today. I have to go take a final now in Medical Nutritional Therapy. What odds will ya give me for passing? 50/50? sure but there's probably only a 20% chance of that. Take care everyone...see ya next fall!! "If you won't show your tits to me, then set me free..." Ant (The funky Diabetic). ------------------------------ Subject: Site update - real video...
