I've downloaded RITF-live with the original lyrics from the L42 MP3 site (Where did they go ???) I started to put the lyrics into print but I can't get it all. Would you PLEASE help me out this is what I got (I know it doesn't always make sence) Running in the family (Original lyrics) I haven't got a siencetific mind but the inquiring kind (?) I always make the right connections My own dad ain't luckier than us (?) won the Nobelprice for his stories He wrote a book about ....... made it fun to read and pushed me in the same direction I've read and clearly understood Like he knew I would The first time he sat eyes on me Looking back is so bizarre Always a mistery All the things we are from the backseat of the car Joseph and Emily we only see so far And we all have our dady's eyes Looking back it's so bizarre At night I'm lying in my bed watching in my head I always play the starring role There's me with my daddy 15 years but it ends in tears when I leave home Each day I found a loving girl (?) Never lose my nerve till I ........... How strange that the mother of my child wore my mother's smile the first time she sat eyes on me Looking back is so bizarre Always a mistery All the things we are from the backseat of the car Joseph and Emily we only see so far And we all have our dady's eyes Looking back it's so bizarre Always a mistery we only see so far Looking back it's so bizarre If you can help me please do so, it is not too big a deal. From: Bilal42 @ aol.com Date: Sun, 11 Oct 1998 17:54:25 EDT I just got my copy of 'Word Machine' (Issue 2) Wow! Well done Loz, you excelled again! I dont want to give anything away so I wont, but, it was a treat to hear from Phil Gould again!!! Years ago I remember we used to cheer at the gigs when Phil would sometimes raise his arm and wave his stick to us. Phil said something quite touching in Word Machine; I'd just like to say: Phil, we loved seeing you live man, you were not at the back of the stage in the fan's minds! I will put the Word Machine (now on top quality stationary) order address on my site soon. Bilal http://members.aol.com/bilal42 ------------------------------ Subject: One Man / Virgin Racks From: Bilal42 @ aol.com Date: Sun, 11 Oct 1998 17:54:24 EDT OK, so there have been enough 'reviews' of it here, but due to my own recent difficuIties only got my copy yesterday.. I liked it instantly, on the first run through! Love it love it love it. Very classy. 'Home boy on bass' can really sing! On the track One Man Mark's singing is quite different; it reminds me a bit of those clever bass solos. If any of you see it on the bottom rack at your local Virgin (they do that on purpose), make sure you kindly rearrange the display, its by far the coolest looking cover of all the current 'new releases'! I need help on following: We are doing our utmost best to give Mark King as much support as we can in The Netherlands by e-mailing as much as possible to all TV and Radio stations. However, it seems almost no-one knows anything about Mark's new solo album. Can anybody tell me if Eagle Record is sending promo's to Dutch Radio /TV stations at all ????? If not so WHY NOT ???? Level 42 was extremely popular over here, so Mark is still very well known........ Can someone with close contacts with Eagle help on this ???? Groetjes, Andre Huijts
