I think Luther's thunderous, soulful voice would lend itself well to this song. Albert42 ------------------------------ Subject: Sale Stuff... But enough's enough. And it's not the fact that it seems like these are coming up daily now. It's because this guy claims that all he's doing is altruistically finding caring new homes for his Level 42 items, when (as the above demonstrates) what he's actually doing is scalping people for everything he can. £30 for a CD video? An item which even the Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide puts at £12? Give me a break. If you want to make a fast buck (that's "pound" for my American readership) fine, but don't pretend it's anything else. AG Hello Gadfly ??? The reason for selling some of my Level 42 collection,is that I no longer play or hold these particular items close to my heart......I have a family now and this is now the most important thing in my life !!! I haved moved on with the priorities in my life.... My collection takes up so much room.....I need the space...The price I put on the items probably reflects my sentimentality to the items in question. You don't have to buy any of the stuff Iam selling !!!!! And I have had plenty of enquiries (people who want the items) anyways so why the fuss on your part ??? I never intended to make a fast buck.....£30 doesn't buy much these days...probably two C.D's from H.MV. if you are lucky....and as for the price in record collector £12 seems far too low.......as you can no longer buy these items off the shelf !!! If you can get me these items for £12 let me know I'll buy them from you.....When was the last time you saw the CDV of Live at Wembley in a store ??? My intention was too make sure my private, rare, collection was too go to another collector....and fan of Level 42....thats all....nothings free in this world ?????is it ??? what do you want me to do give it away ??? One Man is a Good album BUT !!!! there isn't one track on there that Kicks Ass with HEAVEN IN MY HANDS is there ??? Now that is classic Level 42.... The Glory Days of Level 42 have gone......so move on !!! until they get back together and long live the dream... Until Forever Now....another Classic.... If anyone is interested in my collection mail me...... D. ------------------------------ Subject: BASS TABULATURE? They have secured a producer called Pip Williams who is well respected in the business and has worked with the likes of The Moody Blues and Status Quo amongst many others. Part of the deal includes releases of the "Sea of Light" and "Spellbinder" CD's in the territories that they have not been released in yet. i.e. USA / Canada & the Pacific Rim etc. If SOL & SB get released while Heep is still in the studio there are possiblities of touring these markets after the making of the new CD, while it is getting processed and release dates discussed." ------------------------------ Subject: L42 samples From: "D M Lockhart" Date: Sat, 10 Oct 1998 17:43:46 PDT I seem to remember hearing an R&B track with "Love Games" sampled in it and thought it a very good idea...I can't recall where I was when I heard it, so I don't know if it's out or if I was in a studio... I think sampling L42 is a GREAT idea. I don't understand how all these other 80s samples cross Puff Daddy's attention and NOT Level 42. Sampling is GREAT publishing money, and there are a lot of differentr directions you can take sampling their catalog. Had kids been sampling Level 42, that Q magazine review of MK's records would have been a LOT different... ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Subject: Re: Level42 sheet music or folios From: JETTSAMM @ aol.com Date: Sun, 11 Oct 1998 00:18:23 EDT Hi all: I am in need of sheet music or folios (piano/vocal/guitar) of all or any L42 albums.
