But I guess I must forgive you all because, well there is nothing to talk about. We are all waiting for Mark's new album and the re-issues. But going through my collection, and some of my new gotten stuff, I found something I have questions about. On the My fathers shoes singles there are 2 live tracks HBD and TSGD, they were taken from the Official Bootleg recorded by Dave Dixon. What is The Official Bootleg? Where and when was it recorded? Is there anymore? And if so where can I get it? (Wooow a lot of questions at once.) To all you who haven't got a copie of Word Machine yet (STUPID) go get it it's well worth the 2 pounds. Don't worry about tomorrow, just live forever now Ronald ------------------------------ Subject: Nothing much... From: DonZipf @ aol.com Date: Sat, 8 Aug 1998 15:04:15 EDT > WTFAYPOA? "What the fuck are you people on about?" I don't remember that song. Is that from True Colours? Hey, speaking of 80's compilations, I saw an ad for one last night called "Red Hot". They didn't play it, but I saw SAY scroll by in the list of included songs. Z. ------------------------------ Subject: Oops! Ok, I didn't read that carefully enough, there it is plain as day in sentence number two. I just feel so strongly about the integrity and musicianship of bands like Iona and Level 42, I pounced on the chance to express my enthusiasm. I promise, it will happen again! :^) Can I just mention, I am still desperate for CD copies of "Level 42" and "Staring at the Sun". I can't afford import shop prices, but I would love to buy them at a fair price. Or, should I wait for the re-issues??? Hmmm... ------------------------------- Chris Staunton chriss @ pcsupplies.com ...gotta get back to BASSics... -------------------------------
